General comments
Cystitis bij een verder gezonde, niet-zwangere, volwassen vrouw
Nitrofurantoine 2 x 100 mg is tablet mga (= met gereguleerde afgifte). Alternatief is nitrofurantoine po 4 dd 50mg.
Fosfomycine: 2 uur na de maaltijd, bij voorkeur voor de nacht.
Cystitis: uitsluitend bij een verder gezonde, niet zwangere vrouw
Een man heeft per definitie een gecompliceerde urineweginfectie zie hiervoor bij prostatitis
