- Denk bij SOA's altijd aan andere SOA's en HIV testen
- Cave reinfectie in plaats van therapiefalen
- Alle alternatieven voor ceftriaxon o.g.v. kweek.
- Bij vermoeden van therapiefalen: eerst kweken en o.g.v. kweek verder behandelen.
- Bij alternatieve behandeling dan ceftriaxon: altijd controle PCR na 4-6 weken
